The Quijada de Árbol, invented by Germán Carrizosa Luna of Cosoleacaque, Veracruz, is meant to replicate the looks and sound characteristics of it’s natural counterpart, the quijada de burro. It is made using Cedar, Balsa, and Pine woods. It also includes two different scrapers for use as a güiro.
